The British International School of Houston announced today outstanding academic results with two perfect PSAT Test scores of 1520 – the maximum score possible. Congratulations to Fowwaz and Vaughn.
The PSAT/NMSQT is a standardized test that can qualify Year 12 (grade 11) students for the chance to receive a national Merit Scholarship. Over 3 million students sit the PSAT and only the top 1% of scorers qualify as National Merit Finalists. Other students can get recognized for their achievements and we are informed about these in phases.
In addition, students were recognized for obtaining the highest marks in the country for the International General Certificate of Secondary Education (IGCSE ) results.
Five students were acknowledged for attaining the Highest Mark in the United States for the General Certificate of Secondary Education (GCSE) examination results in History, French, Fine Art, Mathematics A, Biology, Chemistry and Physics. To achieve this award, students had to compete with thousands of other students across the United States and globally for the same exam series and on the same subject.
