BIS Houston Students Among Nation’s Top Academic Performers

We are proud to announce that three of our exceptional Year 13 students - Fowaaz, Vaughn, and Avilash - have been awarded the National Merit Scholarship Program Certificate of Merit. This prestigious honor is a reflection of their academic excellence,and dedication to learning.

Each year, over 1.5 million students participate in the PSAT/NMSQT, with only the top 50,000 earning recognition. Among them, 34,000 receive Commended Student status—placing our students among the top academic performers in the United States.
