The British International School of Houston seeks enthusiastic learners who are ready to thrive through our rich academics and outstanding learning experiences. To complete the admissions process for your child, please follow the entry requirements and steps below.

2. SCHEDULE A CAMPUS TOUR
We encourage you to visit our campus in person or virtually. We’ll be delighted to show you our unique classrooms, flexible learning spaces, and campus facilities.

3. SUBMIT SCHOOL TRANSCRIPTS
BIS Houston requires your child’s school reports or transcripts from their current school year and the prior year to review their academic progress.

Please ask your child’s current teacher to complete an evaluation form. Click below to choose the appropriate evaluation form for your child’s year group.

5. COMPLETE A DRAWING OR WRITING TASK
BIS Houston requires a drawing or writing task depending on the desired year group for application. Please click below to follow the prompt for your child’s year group.
5. COMPLETE A DRAWING OR WRITING TASK
  • Early Years Applicants: Please tell us about your family either in a drawing or in writing.
  • Years 1 and 2 Applicants: Please tell us about your family in a drawing with some writing, and please write your name.
  • Years 3–6 Applicants: Please write about yourself, your family, and your interests.
  • All Secondary School Applicants: Please write an essay in which you tell us something about yourself. You may choose to write about a special interest, a talent you have, or an interesting experience you have had.
