What an amazing first day of sport we witnessed befitting to the surroundings we were playing on. Our sports men and women certainly did leave every ounce of energy in the pool and on the track and field in very hot and testing conditions. Just out of the trophy contentions in 4th places were our athletes and swimmers, but numerous personal bests and school records fell. We had too many podium finishes to mention here, but some highlights included Man Nghi Trinh finishing in 1st place in the 100m Back A:

On the track/field it was 1st place for HysunSoo Jung Boys High Jump A, 1st place for York Fang Boys Shot Putt A and 1st place for Karthik Suryawanshi Boys Triple Jump B:

A special mention should also go to new school records holders HyunSoo (High Jump and Triple Jump), Mac (100m) and Lucas (400m)!
In the second day the boys contested basketball and the girls football. The highs and lows, the excitement and the heartache, we had it all!
The girls had a full day of football, playing six competitive games, each getting better than the last. They found a way in each game to play entertaining football and managed to win some tight games, epitomized by the last match in which it all came together and a big score line was finally achieved. This meant that the girls won our only official silverware of the games, taking the 3rd place trophy, winning 3 games, losing 2 and drawing 1.
TROPHY TIME! The girls hard work and resilience wins them 3rd place in the girls football tournament! Smashed it! #thesegirlsrock #didBISproud ⚽️⚽️⚽️🏆🏆🏆🥉🥉🥉#bishcmc pic.twitter.com/J07pn0u6mO

The boys started their afternoon/evening fantastically, beating the eventual finalists BKK Prep in our first game. This continued into our second group game in which another hard but comprehensive victory was attained. Into the semi-finals the boys progressed, but came up against an all-conquering GISKL team, who went on to win the competition, beating our boys by one solitary basket. This was also the case in the 3rd/4th play-off final, agonizingly being edged out by one basket to lose a nail biting and highly eventful game.
It’s 4th for the boys. Heartbreaking, agonising to lose out on a medal by only 1 point but this team should be so proud. Some incredible performances today #onepointtoofar #proudcoach #emotionalrollercoaster #bishcmc #thatssport pic.twitter.com/1cA4OD5uck

Sports reversed on the final day, but the girls had an absolute repeat of the boys in the basketball, winning both games in the group stages and then losing by three points in the semi-finals and agonizingly 2 points in the 3/4 play-off final. So close, yet so far! A brilliant effort by the team and like the boys, deserved to come home with a medal.
It’s heartbreak again as the girls suffer the same fate as the boys. It’s 4th for both basketball teams as the girls lose 4-2 to DBIS. We beat them in the group stages but not when it counted. They left everything on the court and we couldn’t be prouder #bishcmc #stillsmiling pic.twitter.com/73VxJEhh05

The boys were up against it in crazy hot conditions, having a few walking wounded players from a hard day of basketball and then picking up some injuries to key players during the day. They were not able to turn any of their good footballing style of play into victories, but can leave the extremely high level of competition with their heads held high.
Boys had a tough morning with a third loss. After a good lunch break they are getting ready to fight back! #bishcmc #battletotheend ⚽️ pic.twitter.com/TScQMkKLvs
