The U15 FOBISIA Team returned from Thailand on Sunday after a superb competition. Competing against other British international schools in Asia, across Athletics, Swimming, Basketball and Football, the team came back with over 50 medals and invaluable memories together as a team!

7 BIS HCMC SISAC teams become City Champs in Season 1

SISAC Season 1 has come to a close after a superb City Final win for our U13 Girls Basketball Team last Friday. It has been a pleasure to see the number of students representing BIS, and competing with the values so central to our sporting ethos. Congratulations to all of our student-athletes, and thank you to the superb team of coaches who made these experiences possible. Special congratulations to 7 of our teams on becoming city champs in season 1!

Our dedicated athletes, in our basketball, cross country, football, swimming, table tennis and volleyball teams, have started their 2023-24 season with some outstanding performances against teams across HCMC. With training in full swing, and many competitive fixtures under their belts, our students are certainly committed to the countless hours of training and showing true teamwork skills and sportsmanship. U13 FOBISIA Games 2023

Our U13 sports squad took part in the first FOBISIA Games in 4 years, from Wednesday 15th to Sunday 19th March at the world-class Patana Sports Complex, near Pattaya in Thailand. Our team of 28 students aged 11-13 competed against 6 other schools from the FOBISIA network, in swimming, athletics, basketball and football, in what is one of the most competitive International Sports Tournaments in Asia. BIS Invitational Gymnastics Competition

On Wednesday 28th March 2018, our student-gymnasts represented BIS HCMC in the annual BIS Invitational Gymnastics competition. There were over 50 competitors from BIS, BVIS and ISHCMC performing in both floor and vault routines, levels ranging from 1-4.

BIS HCMC Take the Gold at Invitational Swim Gala 2018

Saturday 3rd February saw over 350 swimmers from 8 different schools compete in the two BIS HCMC swimming pools in a day of high excitement, gritty determination and maximum performance from all who took part.

SISAC Athletics City Championships 2018 - Secondary

On Saturday 27th January, a group of our extremely talented athletes competed in the SISAC Athletics City Championships. This competition, held at SSIS invites local schools in Ho Chi Minh City to compete in a range of track and field events. After their success in the U15 FOBISIA Games in Term 1, our students continued to show the BIS HCMC spirit of ambition and determination by winning 4 out of the 6 group divisions!

Phuket Football 7s Tournament 2017 Update

This year saw the British International School, Phuket host their 16th year of the Soccer 7’s Tournament. The biggest one to date, welcomed 1650 competitors playing for 165 teams from 39 international schools, based in 10 different countries – making this tournament a truly remarkable meeting place for Asia's top young footballers, and the international school community.

This year the FOBISIA Games took place in Phuket, Thailand and covered a range of sports including Football, Basketball, Swimming and Athletics. Each and every one of our students used their skills of perseverance, determination and ambition to bring home an unbelievable total of 5 trophies, 47 gold medals, 27 silver medals and 33 bronze medals as well as a host of memories and experiences that will last a lifetime.
