Studying the arts online can be challenging but our students have been engaging in lots of creative activities.
In their art lessons they have been doing lots of activities which encourage their creative thinking. Coming up with ideas and making use of different materials that they have available at home. In a recent project students created photomontages exploring world issues that they care about. They have also been exploring practical art in less conventional ways and have recently been painting with coffee using different objects from around the home. Our students always rise to the challenge and have produced some exciting and creative work.

Drama online has taken on a whole new dimension this term and the students are creating some fabulous creative portfolios. Drama is an opportunity for students to explore their creativity and joy in these uncertain times. It's also been an opportunity for them to express their feelings on COVID and changes within society.
In Drama lessons this term the year 7s have been creating some exciting portfolios.

O nono ano tem explorado a produção de documentários e o teatro político e como o teatro pode influenciar e educar. Eles têm explorado os praticantes de teatro e companhias de teatro que tiveram um impacto no mundo. Exploramos e tivemos muitas discussões em classe sobre COVID e como isso os impactou pessoalmente.

Os alunos se envolvem com as aulas de música da melhor maneira possível.
Demos uma olhada no Blues, Gamelan Music, Voices e um projeto muito interessante em linha com o programa IB que promove a mentalidade internacional. Os alunos trabalharam em grupos para pesquisar um tipo de música em todos os continentes, aprendendo sobre outras culturas e como sua música representava seu povo. Os alunos demonstraram muitas características do perfil IB pesquisando sobre outros países e culturas e como é importante valorizar e respeitar todos os cidadãos do mundo.
Também tivemos o show de talentos online do BCB, com performances incríveis de nossos alunos.
