WHAT TO PREPARE

To join our school in São Paulo, Brazil, we have a few entry requirements that families must meet during the application process.

If you have any questions or concerns, including about your child’s needs, please don’t hesitate to get in touch. We accept applications all year round.

The British College of Brazil’s entry requirements:

The last three years of school reports (in English)
The school transcript or Histórico Escolar for students from Year 2 (1st grade) upwards
Proof of enrolment from the previous school
A family interview, either in São Paulo or via Skype
Parents’ RG or Passport/RNE and CPF
Student's Birth Certificate (for students with Brazilian nationality), Passport/RNE (for students of other nationalities), and CPF
Clearance letter from previous school

ENGLISH LANGUAGE EXPECTATIONS

We’re an English-speaking school, and therefore having a good grasp of the language is a significant advantage. We do provide EAL (English as an Additional Language) lessons; however, we strictly limit the number of students who need support to fully access our curriculum.

Some students may need additional specialised support due to a moderate learning difficulty. We can generally support them through our SEN department, depending on the level of support they require.
