Message from our Head of Early Years - April
It has been wonderful to reflect on the past term.

It has been great to re-introduce trips and be able to give every child on campus the opportunity to go on one. They thoroughly enjoyed their adventures and the experience of learning off campus. This is something that we will continue to build on next term, providing children with more exciting opportunities.

The children have continued to develop and learn, it is great to see out confident Pre-Nursery children excited by their learning, singing songs and acting out familiar stories. The children in Nursery have started phonics lessons and are investigating sounds. In Reception, the children are now reading and writing with greater confidence and ease. In Year 1, the children are developing their fluency when reading and their comprehension skills. Thank you for all your support with encouraging your children to read at home and supporting them with their reading books.

Thank you to all those who attended or listened to the Parent Academies that we held this term. We hope that you find them useful when supporting your child’s learning at home. We are starting to plan for the next academic year. If you would like any specific Parent Academies, please do let me know.

The Easter bonnets looked fantastic, thank you for all your help and support with this. The children enjoyed showing them off to their friends.

Thank you to the PTA for giving the children Easter chocolate. They were very excited to receive them.

I hope you have an enjoyable and peaceful holiday and I look forward to seeing you on May 4th.
