Primary Book Week

This week we celebrated Book Week!

It is always a fun week when we get to focus on books and reading. This year, every class read the book Flotsam which is about a boy who discovers a magical underwater world with a camera. There were lots of fantastic activities across the school from making underwater art, writing our own stories, making choose your own adventure stories and lots of exciting activities in the library! The children showed their creativity through their book week costumes and there were many different book characters around the school on Friday. Well done to all the children who took part in the competitions and the parents who read in their home languages. Next week, we will announce the winners to all the competitions and hand out prizes!
