Pre-Nursery have been exploring the wonderfully exciting season of winter.
How does winter feel, taste and sound like? What animals live in the wintery woods and where can we find them? Through the story of the Gruffalo's Child (Julia Donaldson) we explored how to find animal tracks and have become pretty good ourselves at making tracks in the snow. We discovered that interesting things can be done with snow. It can be filed up into different shapes, cracked when frozen and floats through the air with the wind. What an amazing time to discover the world around us!
