TWO INTERNATIONALLY RECOGNISED CURRICULA
At our British primary school in Warsaw, primary teaching blends the National Curriculum for England and International Primary Curriculum (IPC). This develops students in Years 1–6 into ambitious, independent learners, giving them everything they need to flourish in the next stage of their education. At The British School Warsaw, we ensure the core subjects of English and Maths are delivered consistently and rigorously, using the National Curriculum for England. Most other subjects follow the IPC International Primary Curriculum. This suits the requirements of an international school environment and helps students understand different countries and cultures from an early age. We teach Polish from Year 1, enabling native speakers to hone their literacy skills while helping non-native children grasp the foundations. To enhance our Primary students’ linguistic flexibility, we also teach French, German and Spanish.
