Year 13 students came over from High School to take a look at the Primary School waterways. The purpose was to create their own projects based on the redevelopments that have taken place at the Primary site over the last year or so. They interviewed teachers, took photos and water samples and asked many questions to form their own projects. It was so good to see some familiar faces returning to the Primary School, and they were very surprised to see how much had changed since some of them last attended school here.
Last week we launched our first SuSTEAMability week. It was a fantastic experience that all the staff and students enjoyed. Students got involved in a wide range of sustainable projects.
All of this wonderful activity is gradually building momentum for the Summer Art Festival, which will culminate in a showcase of music, dance and drama in the theatre on Wednesday 14th June.
Year 2 students opened the morning by performing some fantastic songs capturing the spirit of the Expo. They showed their parents all they have learnt about the tropical minibeasts that live around us.
