Last Thursday all the Year 2 parents were invited into the Year 2 classrooms to see all the incredible work the Year 2s had done during their minibeasts topic this term. The day started in the Sports Hall with some great songs about minibeasts to get everyone in the mood for the rest of the morning. The parents were then taken down to the Year 2 area where there was so much much work for them to see. There were fact files about the students’ chosen animals, some incredible stories based on the Roald Dahl book, ‘James and the Giant Peach’, some great pictures and huge sculptures of minibeasts for the parents to enjoy. Just to make sure the parents had been concentrating there was also a quiz for them to try. Thank you to Mrs Meg and all the Year 2 team for all their hard work in creating such a special event.
