The school musical was a huge success! The story, which was all about embracing and celebrating differences, was very fitting for our school and a very talented cast of young actors inspired everyone with their performances.
A huge thank you to all of the teaching staff who were involved backstage. Ms Leanne and Ms Alison worked throughout the year with the key members of the production so that each character really understood their role and motivation, thereby grounding the young actors' performances. The songs and the dances were all brilliantly put together and so well rehearsed to fit the stage setting, Thank you to Miss Anna and Miss Kim for this. Finally, a big thank you to the director - Mr. Jonny - for all his commitment, vision and hard work throughout the year to get this performance to work so well and be just wonderful to watch.
All of the money raised through ticket sales and from donations collected after each performance will be given to The Rainbow Room Foundation. We are very happy to announce that a grand total of 40,000 Baht was raised. We would like to thank everyone who attended and supported this musical. We hope you enjoyed the show as much as we did!
Last week was the Key Stage 2 production of HONK!. Please read Mr Paul’s ‘Headslines’ for details of this wonderful performance and thanks to all the staff that worked so hard to make the show come to life. Here are a few more photos for you to enjoy!
As part of the St Andrews Careers programme, Year 10 and Year 12 students had the valuable opportunity to hear from 20 industry professionals, including alumni, about various career pathways. The morning panel discussions provided insights into professional routes, required qualifications, and essential interpersonal skills for workplace success.
As Term 3 comes to an end, three senior students, Eleonore, Natalie, and Ananya, reflect on their experiences in the IB Diploma Programme at St Andrews International School Bangkok. Perhaps one of the most meaningful projects Ananya and Natalie took on during their senior studies was starting a foundation with a few other friends called Today4tomorrow – an initiative to provide opportunities to underprivileged girls in Thailand.
Congratulations to St Andrews senior student Natalie, who received an offer at the University of Bath to pursue a degree in Psychology. Have a read to learn more about Natalie’s perspective on the IB Diploma Programme and the endless possibilities that await her exploration.
