Last week at primary saw the students and teachers all celebrate the coronation of King Charles III. It was a fun day where everyone dressed in red, white and blue and brought in some nice food to share in their class where special tea parties were held. There were also activities for the students to do like finding out facts about the King, drawing pictures of him and making Union Flags ready to wave. Thanks to everyone for their participation in this fun event.
I hope everyone had an enjoyable short break for our very early half term, which just happened to coincide nicely alongside the Coronation of King Charles III in the United Kingdom. It was really nice to participate, even from afar, in this momentous occasion through our own Coronation activities on Wednesday across the whole school. It certainly prepared those who planned to witness either online or through television coverage all the amazing ceremonies and traditions surrounding this historical event for the United Kingdom and the Commonwealth.
