In the final week of last half term, the Year 3 pupils went on their residential to iCamp in Kanchanaburi. After months of planning and anticipation, the excited children assembled in the Sports Hall before saying goodbye to their parents and setting off on the coaches for the long awaited adventure.
Over the course of the three days, the children enjoyed various team building activities including arts and sports. For the teachers, it was an excellent opportunity for our pupils to demonstrate the learning skills often seen in the classroom - resilience, communication, independence and collaboration.
Upon our return to school pupils (and teachers) were already eagerly anticipating next year’s residential. It goes without saying that the Year 3 residential was a huge success and we were all incredibly proud of the children whilst we were away. A huge thank you to the iCamp team, teachers and our Family Support team for helping to organise this year’s residential to iCamp.
