Recently, in Early Years Foundation Stage 3 (FS3) Phonics, children focused on the "f" sound through imaginative and creative play.
The children created their own firefighter vests with the letter "f" and put them on ready for action around the school. They then used them to pretend to be firefighters and went around the school putting out fires. What a Fantastic and Fun Activity!
Playing allows the child to develop an enormous range of skills with communication and language, physical development and personal, social and emotional development classed as the prime areas of learning. We follow the interests of the children providing flexible learning opportunities across all areas of development.
Another great example of creative and imaginative learning.

Perhaps one of the most meaningful projects Ananya and Natalie took on during their senior studies was starting a foundation with a few other friends called Today4tomorrow – an initiative to provide opportunities to underprivileged girls in Thailand.
