FOBISIA Short Story Competition: Celebrating our Primary students’ creativity and success!

fobisia

It has been wonderful to see the enthusiasm and creativity of our St Andrews Bangkok Primary students in this year’s FOBISIA Short Story Writing Competition! With the theme of ‘Intercultural Awareness’, students worked hard to craft imaginative and thought-provoking stories.

A panel of judges carefully reviewed the entries and selected the top writers from each year group. The decision was not an easy one, as each story was beautifully written and offered a unique perspective on this year’s theme. After much deliberation, here are the results:

Year 2 | 1st - Kitty, 2nd - Miyu, 3rd - Eito and Kamin
Year 3 | 1st - Lisbon,  2nd - Lita, 3rd - Minnie
Year 4 | 1st - Theo, 2nd - Lego
Year 5 | 1st - Emily, 2nd - Tiara, 3rd -Nina
Year 6 | 1st - Fareefta, 2nd - Hana, 3rd - Maho

All students who participated earned two house points, with additional points awarded to those who placed in the top three. The winning writers will also receive a book voucher as recognition for their outstanding work.

As part of the competition, only two stories from each Primary category (Key Stage 1, Year3 and Year 4, Year 5 and Year 6) could be submitted to FOBISIA for judging against other schools. We are proud to announce our six finalists:
