Once again, our students studying the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBDP) have shown there’s no limit to what they can achieve as we celebrate their outstanding results.
A total of 33 students at Regents International School Pattaya studied for the IBDP exams this year. As well as achieving an outstanding pass rate of 97%, the students’ average score of 34 points, once again exceeded the global average of 30.3.
Our students’ outstanding results reflect our teachers’ dedication to support and motivate them, and our students’ hard work and determination to create their future.
Many students will continue their academic studies at the world’s best universities, including University of Manchester, University of British Columbia, and University of Amsterdam.
Sreya, who achieved a near perfect score of 44, stood for the highest individual result and she will be moving to the UK next year to study Bachelor of Medicine Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) at Brighton and Sussex Medical School.
“In the lead-up to final exams, the IBDP was the sun to my solar system as I spent countless hours stressing over the harmful UV radiation (read: assessments and grades). Whilst I will not forget my Regents journey and am grateful to all those who have supported me along the way, it’s also exciting to step forward into new beginnings and new versions of myself. Class of 2024, I wish you the best of luck and look forward to seeing us all do great things!”, said Sreya, Class of 2024, after receiving her impressive IBDP result.
School Principal, Ms Amos Turner-Wardell said, “We cannot put into words how proud we are of all our graduating students and their extraordinary achievements. The unstoppable Class of 2024 have soared to new heights as we are once again above the world average. They are a credit to our school and our long history of academic excellence and reputation as one of the most established international schools in the area.
Please join me in congratulating them all on their outstanding achievements. We can’t wait to see what you’ll achieve next as you embark on your next journey, knowing you will always have your Regents family behind you! Congratulations!”, Ms Amos Turner-Wardell, School Principal.
