“From Heart to Hand Project” is a volunteer project led by Regents student Yue Yu (Sunny) Year 6, to assist people in Pattaya who are isolated at home without the financial means to help themselves.
Sunny and her team of helpers provide cooked food and food donations to as many people as possible.
Sunny's team nicknamed "The Super Kids" have managed to raise over 200,000 THB, through fundraising for food parcels to give out to local people in need in Pattaya due to the COVID-19 situation.
Sunny said:
"I give out food to people because I want to help them and let them know that they are not left alone and can never give up. Every time they get the food they look so excited and happy. So I think I’m going to keep going and give food to people. And I won’t give up because I have a great team!"
When Sunny and her team go into the local villages in Pattaya, they see people who are really in need of food as many of the people who are hungry, can't get to the city center to get free food.
Sunny and her team The Super Kids, thank everyone for their support and encouragement.
The Regents community is very proud of Sunny’s incredible passion for her community and her entrepreneurial efforts.
Sunny plans to continue fundraising and donating food to those in need along with her studies.
