On Tuesday 5 February, the Whole School community at Regents came together for the morning to celebrate Chinese and Korean New Year.
With many of our families hailing from China and South Korea, it was wonderful to see so many of us join in on the celebration of the start of the Year of the Pig.
Students, teachers, staff members and parents gathered in a beautiful sea of red for a parade around the oval, led by our talented percussion ensemble and the traditional East Asian dragon.
We then set off a display of firecrackers, ending the parade with a huge bang.
However, the celebration did not end just there, as Early Primary and Primary students were lucky enough to be treated to a delicious special Chinese themed menu in the canteens for lunch!
