Exceptional learning experiences

Rich, transformative experiences are an essential part of a TBS Warsaw education. They create incredible memories, unlock potential, and inspire students to go further than they ever thought possible.

Students enjoy a range of residential trips, including Space Camp and Iceland. They can also travel to Arusha, Tanzania, for the Citizenship Expedition, taking part in service work with the local community and helping build a village school-all while learning about sustainable development and the environment.

In Les Martinets, Switzerland, your child can take part in the Personal Challenge Expedition, growing in perseverance as they learn to thrive outside their comfort zone. Set in the breath-taking Swiss Alps, students hike through the mountains, practise open-air cooking, and work in teams on navigation challenges.

We empower our students to discover their passions and hone their interests through over 150 extracurricular pursuits and school team training courses. With an array of sport, creative, and special-interest clubs on offer, your child will find a place to foster new, extra-curricular interests.

Our social purpose
We believe that every action counts and we teach your child to make a positive difference in the world—by drawing on their own strengths and talents.

Our social purpose

We encourage our students to become global changemakers, ready to take on some of the world’s most pressing issues. Through our partnership with UNICEF, we incorporate their Sustainable Development Goals into our learning experiences to raise awareness of worldwide challenges. This opens students’ eyes, igniting in them a search for their own sense of purpose.

Model UN offers an invaluable experience for those aspiring to become trailblazers and world-changers. We motivate them to share their thoughts on global issues, and to be ambitious in what they can do personally to make the world a better place.

Our students are empowered to bring social change with opportunities on both a local and national level.  Our dedicated Community Service Officer establishes collaborations with charities and NGOs, such as the Pankracy Foundation, Recipe for Independence, the Rotary Club, and Warsaw Volunteer Mission and many more. At IB level, students take part in Creativity, Action, Service (CAS) connecting them with the local community,  and helping them to build bridges on a regional and even global scale.

Students have the chance to participate in the highly esteemed Duke of Edinburgh International Award, which stands out on any university application. They can design their own programme of activities, set their own goals, and challenge themselves to achieve—and surpass—their aims.

World-class teachers

Nord Anglia’s global reach means TBS Warsaw can recruit and hire the most caring, passionate, qualified teachers. We ensure every teacher meets stringent international standards through continual assessments against school and global benchmarks, as well as Nord Anglia’s rigorous Quality Assurance framework—based on best practice from education providers and inspection bodies around the world.

All our IBDP teachers are trained and certified in their subjects by the International Baccalaureate, so they have a deep understanding of how to ensure their students achieve top results. They have the expertise and experience to deliver high-quality programmes whilst giving students access to the very best educational experiences.

Professional development opportunities at TBS Warsaw aren’t limited to teachers and staff. We offer lectures and training sessions for parents, on topics like parent–child relationships, school teaching methodologies, assessment tools, and child psychology. This enables you to be a fully integrated part of your child’s learning journey.

The Nord Anglia Education Family

From Warsaw to the world; our students connect with their peers from Nord Anglia schools around the world, through our online learning platform, Global Campus, broadening their perspectives on life and developing their appreciation of other cultures. Every year, 25,000 Nord Anglia students meet at regional events, building lasting friendships through sports, music, STEAM, and Model UN.

Nord Anglia students and teachers also benefit from our unique collaborations with world-leading institutions: MIT, and Juilliard. Our collaboration with MIT has design thinking at the heart of its approach, inspiring creativity and curiosity in students through in-school challenges. Your child can also take part in our annual visit to MIT, where they enjoy incredible workshops led by the university’s experts.

TBS Warsaw’s Parents and Teachers Association (PTA) are instrumental in welcoming new families into our warm and friendly school environment and helping them settle into life in Warsaw. International representatives and parent buddies ensure everyone stays connected to the community.
