Ms Shahid graduated with a Software Engineering degree from Fatima Jinnah University, Pakistan and obtained a Postgraduate Certificate of Education from University of Nottingham, UK.
Ms Shahid found her passion for teaching after working with an SEN student for a year in Dubai. She joined Dover Court in 2016 as a Teaching Assistant but only a few months in she decided to pursue teaching as career and went on to obtain her PGCE. She enjoys teaching computer science, but her real interest is mathematics. She wants her students to see mathematics as a way to understand the world around them.
Ms Shahid believes it is important to remove anxiety and stress from the learning environment to enable students to achieve their best.
In her free time, Ms Shahid loves reading and crafting. She is also an aspiring baker and a yoga enthusiast.
