Ella Bashford graduated with a BSc Honours degree in Human Biology from Loughborough University before completing her PGCE at Goldsmiths University, London.
Ella Bashford has been teaching at Dover Court International School since she moved to Singapore in 2018. Prior to teaching at DCIS, she worked for five years at a school in Outer London.
Having always loved school herself, Ella aspires to having the same positive impact on the children she teaches as she had from many of her own teachers growing up. This motivates her to create lessons which will inspire children to have a lifelong thirst for learning.
Ella has taught in many year groups within Primary and has taught years 2 to 5 whilst at DCIS. She is passionate about creating a calm and safe classroom environment so that all of her students feel happy and ready to learn.
Outside of school, she loves to travel with her family, exploring new places, foods, cultures and traditions.
