Anastasia Edwards graduated from Stellenbosch University with a Bachelor of Education. During her studies, she specialised in the Foundation Phase which places an intentional focus on Early Years Learning.
Originally from South Africa, Anastasia gained her initial teaching experience in the Western Cape and has since taught in England, South Korea, and Singapore. During this time, she has taught in Nursery, Reception and Year 1 classes with a strong focus towards inquiry-based learning.
Anastasia is passionate about providing learning experiences centered around children’s interests and supporting each child to develop their love for learning. She believes that children are naturally curious and capable beings, and she is excited to join them in their learning journeys. Anastasia takes each child’s learning style into account and ensures that they receive meaningful opportunities to extend upon their learning through hands-on experiences.
Outside of school, Anastasia enjoys travelling to different countries and learning about cultures around the world. On weekends she enjoys long walks with her dogs and spending time reading all types of books.
