Year 3 became paleontologists for the day as part of their IPC Entry Point.
They learnt how to be a great paleontologist before going outside to dig for fossils. We talked about how we had to be careful and gentle when moving the fossils out of the sand, and how we could work together as a team. The children found lots of interesting bones, which they are excited to research and find out more about! They concluded that the bones belonged to a dinosaur and they discovered lots of sightings of a dinosaur around the school! We look forward to learning more in our topic, Footprints from the Past!
