DCIS Lower Primary Summer Reading Winners The Summer Reading Challenge has been a huge success in the Lower Primary School.

The Summer Reading Challenge has been a huge success in the Lower Primary School.

We have had excited children coming to the library to submit their Holiday Booklets over the last few weeks.

Some children had coloured all the sea animals and we received some very pretty and colourful booklets. The idea to inspire students to read themselves or with their parents has worked well and lots of students have made a conscious effort  to read lovely books and engage themselves by reading more and more over the summer.

To appreciate the efforts lots of rewards have been given out this week in the library lesson. All rewards are based on how much the children read over the summer and how many sea animals they had coloured in in their Holiday Booklet.

Some children had also listed the titles of books they read, these students are our "SUPER READERS"

Well done to all the students who made an effort to READ - keep up the good work!
