Trip to Snow City!

Yesterday, Year 5 went on a school trip to Snow City.  The children continued their learning on their topic of 'Gases' in Science by experimenting with liquid nitrogen. The children were able to create their own ice cream using liquid nitrogen to speed up the process.  

Children, teachers and parents got to participate in the activities and we were all amazed by the experiments we saw. The second half of time was spent playing in and on the real snow that is created at the centre.  It was the first time some of the children had ever played in snow!
