This week two of our Year 1 classes performed their first Assembly of the year.

Year 1 Class Assembly This week two of our Year 1 classes performed their first Assembly of the year.

They told the audience what they had been learning in Science – all about the parts of the body and the Senses. Then they treated everyone to their own version of the classic book “The Tiger Who Came to Tea”. This had a Singaporean twist as a bear came to breakfast at Sophie’s condo. He ate all the roti prata and chicken rice and he drank all the Tiger beer in the fridge. When Mum came home from her business trip to Hong Kong, there was nothing for it but to go out for brunch.

The children had lots of fun rehearsing and performing and demonstrated wonderful confidence with their acting and the delivery of their lines. They are already looking forward to being back on the stage for the Deepavali Assembly.
