On Thursday 25th October a group of students learnt all about wearable technology in a talk given by Dr. Shweta Agarwala from Nanyang Technological University.
Mr. Tallett, Mr. Kinsella and Mr. Bull gave an internet safety workshop aiming to educate parents about some of the relevant issues surrounding us today.
Superheroes are known to possess special powers or gadgets that enhance their identity. Inspired by the work of Prof. Leia Stirling at MIT’s Department of Aeronautics and Astronautics, the Epic Identity Challenge encourages our students to look into wearable technologies, and how they are used to measure, enhance or help human performance.
During a workshop for Secondary parents our computer science teacher, Mr. Kinsella and our Head of secondary, Mr. Bull discussed the new learning technologies that we use at Dover Court International School.
This has been a busy week for our sports teams, with the ACSIS conferences in full swing. The DCIS students are doing great and we've seen some excellent results!
