Meet Adam Goold, science teacher and Assistant Head of Secondary, and an integral part of Dover Court International School since 2017. As a member of the Senior Leadership team overseeing Assessment, Recording, and Reporting, Mr Goold advocates for education beyond traditional boundaries, making learning a memorable and personalised experience for our students.
As we settle into the new school year it’s important to validate that many of our new students and families are joining us from overseas where they have left family and friends behind. Rachel Edwards, our Head of Secondary, shares some tips for families who have joined us this year.
Luka is one of our longest-standing students, he first joined Dover Court in August 2011. We met with him for a chat about the school and how it has both changed and managed to remain the same over the years. We also wanted to congratulate him on his outstanding maths results. Luka sat his IGCSE Maths exam a year early and achieved a grade of 9. He is now looking forward to deepening his maths knowledge in the Further Maths course.
Here in Singapore we are privileged to welcome our students back onto campus, however, between the limited after school programme, restrictions on group sizes and wearing of masks, all I fully agree with, things have a slightly less connected feel. To recognise our new normal we have placed the well-being of our community at the centre of our opening and approach to the first term.
Dover Court International School awarded the UK Impact in Singapore Award at the 20th Annual Business Awards organised by the British Chamber of Commerce.
