FAQs

• How can I pay for the camp?

  Invoices will be issued via email following the Booking Confirmation. 

  To secure the booking, a non-refundable deposit must be paid within 14 days, following receipt of the invoice.

  To complete the enrolment, the remaining balance must be paid no later than 14 days prior to the camp start date
• Can I register my child for specific days?

  Unfortunately, we can only accept bookings on a weekly basis. This ensures continuity throughout the week and ensures the students can form meaningful friendships with the other participants.
• Can children outside of PBIS attend?

  Yes, of course! The summer camps are open to the wider community as well as PBIS students.
• If my child isn't a fluent English speaker, can they still attend?

  All of our camp teams include staff fluent in both Czech and English who are experienced in working with students from many nationalities, with varying levels of English. The focus of our programmes is on pure enjoyment and teamwork, in an English speaking, fully international environment. All activities will be adapted to the age and ability of the participants.
• Is the Football Academy suitable for beginners?

  Absolutely! The training sessions are fully accessible for students of all levels and abilities and are a great way for students to develop key skills, boost fitness and build confidence. Ultimately, the training sessions are centred around fun and nurturing enjoyment of the game. For some sessions, students will be divided into smaller groups based upon ability.

• Do you provide transportation?

  Yes, we will provide two complimentary shuttle bus services from Dejvická in Prague 6 and from Riegrovy sady in Prague 2.

  The Dejvická Shuttle Bus will collect students from Šolínova 1903/7 in Prague 6. The bus will leave each morning opposite the ČVUT - Klokner Institute at 8:10 AM and return at 5:00 PM.

  The Vinohrady Shuttle Bus will collect students from Riegrovy sady in Prague 2. The bus will leave each morning in front of Sokol Královské Vinohrady at 8:30 AM and return at 5:00 PM.

  Places on the buses are strictly limited and must be booked in advance. If you would like to reserve a place for your child on one of the shuttle buses, please indicate this on your registration form. Please note that only children aged 4 years and above can travel on the daily shuttle bus.

  
  
• What about food and drink?

  There is no need to bring any food and drink to our summer camps. A cooked lunch and a morning and afternoon snack will be provided every day, prepared by the school's catering supplier, Lion Catering.

  If your child has any food allergy or specific dietary requirements, please be sure to include this information on the registration form and on the Declaration Form (completed on your child's first day).

• What should the children bring each day?

  • Comfortable clothing, suitable for the weather conditions and activities on the day.
  • Water bottle
  • Backpack
  • Hat or cap
  • Swimsuit and towel
  • Sunscreen
  • Tick repellent
• If our plans change, can I cancel the booking?

  Cancellations are accepted up until 14 days before the camp start date. If you cancel within this period, the relevant camp fees paid will be refunded, excluding the non-refundable camp deposit.

  Cancellations received less than 14 days before the camp start date are only accepted in the case of illness or accident, which must be supported by a signed doctor’s certificate.

  In the event of cancellation on medical grounds, parents will be reimbursed for the relevant camp fees paid, excluding the non-refundable camp deposit.
