At Country Day School, we take great pride in the significant strides we’ve made to enhance the student experience. Across multiple areas, from athletics to academics, well-being, and facilities, we've invested thoughtfully to ensure that our students thrive. But there’s one thing that drives us even further—your feedback. As parents, you play a crucial role in helping us grow and improve, and we value every piece of input you offer. When we listen to you, we gain valuable insights that help shape an extraordinary school experience for all. 

Athletic Excellence for Every Student 
We understand the importance of athletics in a well-rounded education. That’s why we’ve made key improvements, from increasing training sessions at every level to expanding opportunities for participation in local tournaments. To ensure our student athletes feel proud both on and off the field, we’ve designed fresh new uniform kits and installed lights for evening games, making it easier for families to attend and cheer on their children. We’ve even taken our support further by hiring a strength and conditioning coach to work with all varsity athletes, giving them the tools to excel not only in competition but also in their personal fitness journeys. 

Academic Rigor and Inclusive Learning 
Our commitment to academic excellence is stronger than ever. We’ve sought out top-tier teachers and leaders from around the globe, recruiting those who share our vision of pushing students beyond their expectations. In addition, 11 of our educators are currently participating in an intensive 18-month professional development program. This training is designed to challenge our students and elevate the level of instruction, ensuring that learning at CDS goes above and beyond. 

Food Service and School Pride 
Recognizing that a positive school experience extends beyond the classroom and playing fields, we’ve made significant upgrades to our food services. By taking over the cafeteria operations, we’ve improved the quality and variety of meals, creating a dining environment that our students enjoy. Our uniform store now offers a seamless shopping experience, complete with top-quality CDS-branded merchandise that boosts school pride and makes it easier for families to purchase everything they need. 

A Healthier Social Environment for All 
Perhaps the most impactful change we’ve made is in support of student well-being. We’ve implemented a no cell phone policy across the entire campus to foster a healthier social environment. This policy encourages students to engage more deeply with their peers and their learning, reducing distractions and creating a more connected school community.

We believe that the most successful schools are those that listen to their communities. Your feedback matters, and we take every suggestion seriously.
