Dear Families,
We had another great week in Primary! Please look out for monthly class newsletters (sent by classroom teachers). Teachers will share information about upcoming learning, events, volunteer opportunities, and other important information. We hope to see you at UN Day and Halloween Family Night later this month. If you’d like to help hand out candy during the Trick or Treat Village, please contact the house secretary.

Our United Nations Day Celebration will be held on Thursday, October 13th. Students enjoy learning about the different countries around the world and love participating in this CDS tradition.
EC will participate in the whole school parade/assembly and then have a shared snack in their classroom. Children may bring something that represents their country (either a typical snack to share or a heritage/cultural book, game, or short presentation). After the shared snack students will have the opportunity to visit the booths from different countries and learn more about each country.
ES students will have an opportunity to visit the booths from different countries and sample some of the traditional food.
