Many families have had the opportunity to experience the new food service at CDS. Bistro Food Services has done an amazing job transforming our community’s collective experience in our cafeteria. In only a week’s time, the Bistro staff have modified menus, recipes, purchasing and ordering systems, all the while maintaining a welcoming and collaborative atmosphere. It is important to note that all former CDS cafeteria staff have been contracted to work with Bistro. You can still use the Nutrislice app in case you would like to preorder food for your child, all financial transactions and deposits should go through Bistro Food Services; also if your child has some dietary restrictions please contact Ms. Susan Campos who is the project manager for Bistro and can be reached for any questions at susan@bistrofoodservice.com.
We have been working to adjust student lunch schedules at all levels to alleviate lines in the cafeteria during lunch times in order for students to enjoy their meals with plenty of time.
Please note that students and their families are invited to have breakfast beginning at 7 am in the cafeteria. Students eating breakfast must remain in the cafeteria until 7:30 am.
You asked for it and we got it!! CDS is excited to offer a new language course as an elective for our students! The course being offered is a yearlong Mandarin course. If your wonderful child is interested in enrolling in this course, please email Tatiana.Gutierrez@cds.ed.cr as soon as possible and we can begin enrolling them in this fantastic opportunity!
