BSKL Swim Team brings home 35 medals at 11th Novice Swim Meet
The BSKLSwim Team recently delivered outstanding performances at the 11th Novice Swim Meet, held at PADE last weekend. This prestigious event drew over 1,400 participants from across Selangor, Kuala Lumpur, and Ipoh, and our swimmers brought home an impressive haul of 16 gold, 11 silver, and 8 bronze medals.

Here are some of the highlights:

  • Artur dominated with 5 golds (25m Fly, 50m Fly, 25m Breaststroke, 50m Breaststroke, 25m Freestyle) and 1 silver (50m Freestyle).
  • Kristen L. earned 1 gold (50m Backstroke), 3 silvers (25m Fly, 25m Backstroke, 50m Fly), and 1 bronze (50m Freestyle).
  • Jasmine added to the tally with 2 golds (50m Freestyle, 50m Backstroke), 1 silver (25m Backstroke), and 1 bronze (25m Freestyle).
  • Ian N. took home 2 golds (25m Freestyle, 50m Breaststroke) and 1 bronze (25m Fly).
  • Kanna claimed 2 golds (25m and 50m Breaststroke) and 1 bronze (50m Fly).
  • William secured 1 gold (50m Breaststroke) and 2 bronzes (25m Freestyle, 25m Fly).
  • Cayleb C. won 1 gold (50m Backstroke) and 1 bronze (25m Backstroke).
  • Kayla W. earned 1 gold (50m Breaststroke) and 1 silver (25m Breaststroke).
  • Matthew C. secured 1 gold (25m Backstroke) and 2 silvers (25m Breaststroke, 50m Backstroke).
  • Iman claimed 1 silver (25m Breaststroke).
  • Josephine captured 1 silver (50m Freestyle).
  • Kaede earned 1 bronze (25m Backstroke).
  • Hanna T. contributed 1 silver (50m Fly).

This meet was a fantastic experience for our younger swimmers, showcasing their hard work, determination, and sportsmanship. Many swimmers achieved personal best times, reflecting the growth and progress they’ve made this season.
