Week 3 ,Term 1, 2024/2025
As we conclude the third week of the new school year, I am delighted to share what an enjoyable and successful start it has been.

The energy and enthusiasm from both our children and staff have been truly uplifting. It’s clear that our children have settled in well, forming new friendships and diving headfirst into their learning with curiosity and excitement.

This week, we hosted our curriculum mornings, and it was wonderful to see so many of you there. These sessions are always a fantastic opportunity for us to connect with parents and share insights into the learning journey your children will embark on this year. Your involvement and support are invaluable, and we hope you found the mornings informative and inspiring. A special thanks to those who took the time to engage with us during these sessions.

We also had a Parent Academy session on our Primary Behaviour Policy, led by Mrs. Stringer. During this session, Mrs. Stringer talked about our school rules: Ready, Respectful, and Safe, and discussed how we address unacceptable behaviour using the Restorative Justice approach. Here is a link to the presentations from the session. Your child should bring home a ‘Positive Behaviour in Primary Quick Guide’ booklet with them today.

We are also excited to announce that our Co-Curricular Activities (CCAs) have started this week. It’s great to see our students exploring new interests, developing skills, and building confidence in a range of activities beyond the classroom. The enthusiasm they bring to these sessions is infectious, and we’re looking forward to seeing how they grow and thrive in these diverse pursuits.

Looking ahead, next week marks our annual E-Safety Week. In today’s digital age, it’s crucial that our children understand how to navigate the online world safely and responsibly. Throughout the week, students will participate in various activities and workshops designed to reinforce the importance of e-safety. We encourage you to engage with your children about what they learn during this week and continue the conversation at home.

Thank you for your continued support and involvement in our school community. Together, we are creating a nurturing environment where our children can thrive and flourish

Have a wonderful weekend,
