Making waves - Celebrating the triumphs of the 2023-24 swim season
As we reach the end of the academic year 2023-24, we reflect on a busy and fulfilling year for the BSKL swim team.
The 2023-24 season was packed with exciting events and significant achievements. Our team participated in the KLASS Autumn Series, Selangor Age Group, FOBISIA, AIMS Series, Primary and Secondary AIMS, NAE Invitational Swim Meet, GIS Early Fire, Selangor Novice Swim Meet, and numerous friendlies with other international schools.
This year, we had over 300 students joining our CCA swimming program, with more than 100 students representing us in various swim meets, including friendly competitions, local meets, and overseas championships. Our BSKL swim team boasts a strong fundamental program that continues to grow and thrive.
We have witnessed many outstanding performances and significant growth in our swimmers throughout the year. Their dedication and hard work have truly paid off, and we couldn't be more proud of their achievements.
Looking ahead, we are excited about next year’s schedule and plan to increase our participation in international swim meets, providing opportunities for both our elite and development teams to gain valuable experience and exposure.
I would like to take this opportunity to extend my heartfelt thanks to our supportive parents. Their unwavering support has created a strong and united community, always present to cheer on our swimmers at every event. They even organized a swim gathering cum farewell party to conclude this academic year’s swim chapter.
We wish those who are leaving us all the best in their future endeavors. Continue to shine in the pool and make us proud, no matter where you go.
Secondary school parents and students celebrated the achievements of BSKL students at the 2nd annual Empowered to Succeed Awards on 12 June at the Le Meridien Hotel.
The Secondary Well-being room, once underutilised and often misused, has undergone a remarkable transformation into a dedicated learning support sensory room, marking a significant milestone in the school's commitment to inclusive education.
