We are thrilled to share with you the incredible success of BSKL Idol 2023, organised by our student House leaders. The event was a massive hit, with eight finalists showcasing their talents in singing, magic tricks, violin, dance duets, and ballet.
The audience was treated to an hour of exceptional performances. It was an afternoon of pure entertainment and talent that showcased the immense creativity and dedication of our students.
On behalf of the House advisors, I would like to extend our heartfelt gratitude to the House leaders for their amazing effort and contribution to all the fantastic House events this year. Their dedication and leadership skills have been instrumental in making our school community stronger and more united. We wish them all the best as they embark on their study leave and know that they will be greatly missed.
Finally, we would like to congratulate the winners of BSKL Idol 2023. First place was secured by Manuella Opondo and Ke Yi Chai (singing with piano accompaniment) with Caitlin Teong coming in second with her solo singing, and Abeer Kumar, Tanweer Mohamed Redzuan, and Ranbir Malhotra taking third place with their magic tricks. We applaud all the finalists for their exceptional performances and encourage them to continue to nurture their talents. Once again, congratulations to all the winners, and we cannot wait to see what our talented students have in store for us next!
Secondary school parents and students celebrated the achievements of BSKL students at the 2nd annual Empowered to Succeed Awards on 12 June at the Le Meridien Hotel.
The Secondary Well-being room, once underutilised and often misused, has undergone a remarkable transformation into a dedicated learning support sensory room, marking a significant milestone in the school's commitment to inclusive education.
