With an impressive 18-year teaching journey, Sarah stands as a seasoned educator, currently celebrating her fourth impactful year at BSG. Her diverse experience spans the spectrum from guiding toddlers to mentoring Year 4 students, fulfilling roles as a dedicated whole-class teacher. Sarah's leadership has also extended to subject-specific responsibilities, student welfare advocacy, and the innovative mantle of Student Voice Lead for the Primary division.

Sarah's academic foundation is anchored by a Bachelor of Arts with Honours degree in Primary Teaching, boasting a specialized focus on mathematics, earned from the esteemed Durham University, UK. Further enriching her professional acumen, she successfully completed a Certificate in School Leadership and Management from none other than Harvard University in 2021.

Continual growth is a hallmark of Sarah's journey as she consistently evolves as a learner and practitioner. She has dedicated herself to additional training, nurturing the needs of students with specific learning requirements, and providing invaluable behavioral support. Her dedication led her to transition to a pivotal role within the Primary Learning Support department last year. Notably, she recently earned her Special Educational Needs Coordination award from Middlesex University, UK, augmenting her prowess in Special Educational Needs and inclusive practices. An ongoing pursuit of excellence has driven Sarah to embark on a master's degree journey in SEN and inclusive practices.

Sarah's past 8 years have been an enchanting chapter lived and woven in Guangzhou, where she, along with her family, have made a home. In moments of respite, Sarah revels in exploring the city and its surroundings, often accompanied by her cherished daughter and faithful canine companion. A true champion of education, Sarah's fervent passion lies in empowering students to embrace their potential and flourish with confidence. In the current year, Sarah's ambitions extend to nurturing the role of play leaders and invigorating the student council's impact school-wide. Furthermore, she is ardently dedicated to enhancing academic horizons for students accessing Learning Support.
