Maxime is an experienced educator who has been dedicated to the field of teaching since 2002. With a Master's degree in Teaching French as a Foreign Language from both the Universities of Oxford Brookes (England) and Angers (France), he brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to his role. He also holds a Bachelor's degree in English Literature and Civilization, further enhancing his ability to connect with students.
Throughout his career, Maxime has taught French at various institutions, including the French Alliance of Guangzhou and the University of Sun-Yat Sen. He served as a Director of Studies at Hampson English Education and worked for three years at the Guangzhou Zenith International Nursery. In 2022, Maxime joined the British School of Guangzhou, where he believes he can best support students in their pursuit of learning French with an enriched curriculum and learner support.
Maxime firmly believes that studying French not only improves students' communication skills and provides them with access to a broader global knowledge base but also strengthens their study of English. With approximately 300 million speakers worldwide, French ranks fifth among the most widely spoken languages. Maxime's passion for teaching extends beyond the classroom, as he devotes his free time to studying etymology and Chinese.
