Jessica is a passionate educator who has been working at BSG since 2020. She specialises in Early Years Education and has been working with our Year 1 students since she joined BSG in 2020. Jessica holds a Bachelor of Arts degree, specialising in English and Psychology, as well as a Post Graduate Certificate in Education.

Originally from Cape Town, South Africa, Jessica has made Guangzhou her home for the past 7 years alongside her husband and their 2 children. During her time off from teaching, she enjoys running, walking her 2 dogs, and exploring the beautiful parks in Guangzhou with her friends.

Jessica decided to join BSG in August 2020 to take the opportunity to join a talented team of education professionals, focused on the quality of teaching and learning. She is committed to professional growth and believes that as teachers, we challenge our learners to be the best they can be. This challenge applies to teacher, too. She is committed to developing her skills through professional development on the world-class training programmes on the Nord Anglia University learning platform.

Curriculum development in Jessica’s true passion. She follows a highly personalized approach to teaching in her classroom and the combined with BSG’s internationally recognised curriculum, makes the perfect foundation to unlock learning potential for all students. With her guidance, students are encouraged to explore the world around them and learn through their own experiences.
