Hannah is a dedicated educator with over a decade of Primary and Early Years teaching experience spanning New Zealand and China. Holding a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology and Education from the University of Canterbury and a Graduate Diploma of Teaching - Primary, Hannah brings a wealth of academic knowledge and practical expertise to her role.
With a passion for inspiring students to reach their full potential, Hannah adopts a dynamic and innovative approach to teaching. She firmly believes in creating a child-centered learning environment where every learner feels valued and supported. Through differentiated instruction and fostering open dialogue, Hannah ensures that each student's unique needs are met, nurturing a love for lifelong learning.
Hannah, along with her husband and three children aged 11, 9, and 7, have been residing in China since 2018. This immersive experience has deepened her understanding of the local culture and community, enriching her teaching practice with diverse perspectives. Outside of the classroom, Hannah enjoys travelling and exploring new places with her family, photography, and hiking.
Excited to embark on a new chapter at The British School of Guangzhou, Hannah is eager to contribute her expertise and passion to the school community. She looks forward to inspiring and empowering her students while fostering a positive and engaging learning environment.
