Boaz was born in Holland, grew up in America, and has two lovely daughters who currently attend BSG. He earned his bachelor’s degree from Portland State University and obtained his teaching certificate from the University of West Florida. Boaz has been teaching in international schools in Guangzhou for eight years and is incredibly excited to be a part of the Nord Anglia and BSG community.
With experience teaching 7th grade, 3rd grade, and Kindergarten, Boaz brings a wide range of expertise in working with students of various ages. He is a passionate educator who believes that building strong relationships with each individual student, understanding their learning styles, and addressing their specific needs leads to the greatest amount of progress. This approach helps each student grow to their fullest potential.
Outside of the classroom, Boaz enjoys golfing and snowboarding, but his greatest passion is playing and watching basketball. He is always looking for new places to explore with his family throughout Guangzhou, as well as new dining experiences to savor.
