Stephen is from England and has worked as an international teacher for almost 25 years. He has primarily taught secondary school and university students, supporting them in achieving success in well-respected international examinations and securing placements at top universities worldwide.
He obtained a bachelor’s degree in Pure Mathematics from the University of Kent at Canterbury, and a master’s degree in information communications technology and education from the University of Leeds. Stephen has also conducted nationally funded research into the application of chaos theory to the field of opinion dynamics, whilst studying at both the University of Kent at Canterbury, and Panteion University, Athens.
For many years Stephen was an IB examiner and moderator, and this experience has proven to be extremely valuable in guiding students, especially with examination preparation and revision strategies. When he is not teaching, Stephen likes to read literature, write about his experiences as an international educator, and answer past examination papers.
