Rebecca is excited to be joining the British School of Beijing as Head of Secondary in August 2025, bringing with her 16 years of international experience in education across Asia and Africa.
Before taking on the role of Head of Secondary, Rebecca has held leadership positions as Head of Sixth Form, Head of Faculty, and Assistant Head for Academics, giving her a broad perspective on both pastoral and academic development. Most recently, she has been Head of Secondary at Bromsgrove International School Thailand, where she has focused on improving academic standards, fostering a supportive school culture, and ensuring students are well-prepared for life beyond school. She is passionate about holistic education, balancing academic excellence with personal development to help students reach their full potential.
Rebecca graduated from the University of Liverpool with a Bachelor of Arts in Social and Economic History. She has received her PGCE in History, and Master of Arts in Educational Leadership Management, both from the University of Nottingham.
Rebecca is thrilled to be making this move with her family—her son, who will be joining Year 10, and her husband. They are all looking forward to immersing themselves in the vibrant school community and life in Beijing.
