BA, BA, MEd
Quynh received her first Bachelor of Arts university degree in History and my second degree in English. She also has a Master of Education degree in Elementary Education from The College of New Jersey.
In 2014, she started her teaching career at the International School Ho Chi Minh City in Vietnam as a middle school history teacher. After getting married, my husband and I moved to Kuala Lumpur (KL). After teaching EYFS and Primary students at Mont'Kiara International School in KL, she made a conscious decision to switch to be an EYFS and Primary school teacher. In 2019, when her son was old enough to enroll in Teddies at BSB Shunyi, Quynh joined BSB as a 1-1 Teaching Assistant in Year 5. In the 2020 academic year, she has been working as a permanent supply teacher in the Reception year group, supporting children with their learning both in and outside the classroom, teaching phonics, maths and all other class-based subjects.
Quynh was super excited to join the BSB EYFS team in March 2021 as a Class Teacher. She thoroughly enjoys teaching children and loves to see how excited they are and how eager they are to learn. Daily they come to school with open minds and with playful attitudes about learning. She believes each child is special and deserves love, kindness, attention and most importantly education. Watching them learn, play, make mistakes and develop is truly an amazing experience for her. As an educator, she always give her best to support them and build up their confidence with care and a kind heart.
Personally, Quynh enjoys travelling and exploring different countries and different cultures, especially their food. She also spends a lot of time doing meditation and yoga.
