BA, DAZ (deutsch als zweistsprache) certificate
After Nadja graduated from the University of Stuttgart in 2006 with a Bachelor’s degree in Pedagogy and English, she worked as a teacher for teenagers and helped them to achieve a graduation or an apprentice position. She has worked in many pedagogical fields before like coaching, counselling and training. She also has a DAZ (deutsch als zweistsprache) certificate from the Goethe institute.
When Nadja came to China in 2012, she chose to get additionally certified as a teacher in German as a second language and teaching children in kindergarten which she really liked a lot. She then worked as a teacher for German as a second language and a teacher for special needs with preschool children. Her last job was as a special needs teacher in a German primary school until she received the great opportunity to work as a German Class Teacher at the BSB Shunyi.
Nadja loves being a teacher because she loves the impact that a great teacher can have on a child’s education and life. She likes seeing students grow in confidence over the the school year and feels lucky to be able to help to form and support them. She loves to travel and experience new countries and cultures together with her family. She also loves dancing and spending time with her family.
