Marius is delighted to join BSB Shunyi in 2022. He graduated from the University of Hildesheim, Germany with a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science. Afterwards he worked in Germany for pharmaceutical and automotive companies as an HSE Expert (Health, Safety and Environmental Security) where he was not only responsible for the safety of the employees and the compliance with environmental protection, but also with the training of young trainees in the topics of sustainability.
Marius also have a German as a Foreign Language Teaching Certificate from Goethe Institute. When he came to China, he worked as a German teacher in an international school in Beijing and before I joined BSB, he taught biology at an international school in Shanghai.
One of Marius biggest hobbies is probably sports. He likes to do fitness, play soccer and regularly participate with friends in competitions like the Spartan race. His second hobby is everything that somehow has to do with nature and our environment. He has always been fascinated by nature and the connections that all living things have with each other and their environment. Therefore, a vacation for him is not always just relaxing but rather discovering new environments, plants and animals, the sea, mountains or river landscapes.
He wants to pass on this fascination to his students and his recently born son and hope to inspire as many young people as possible about the beauty of our planet and the importance of its preservation.
