BA, MA, QTS, License in TESOL, and TKT
Karl graduated with a BA in Primary Education with Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) from the University of Cumbria, in the UK. He also has licenses in TESOL, and TKT and more recently, finished a MA in Education from the University of York. He is licensed to teach in the UK and have been teaching in Beijing for around six years now in Language and private schools. He was interested in working for BSB due to its expertise in educational values and strong curriculum and professional staff.
Karl enjoys travelling, exploring cultures and local history, and art. In his spare time,he usually cook, read, and draw; he has also recently become interested in writing. He grew up in Yorkshire, North England and his family has frequently travelled to different places around the globe; especially during the winter when he can go skiing.
Karl's aim is to encourage students to love learning and develop holistically. He wants to share his passion for learning so that they can begin to see and understand the wonders this world has to offer. Learning is a treasure that will follow its owner everywhere. He is eager to help children grow and develop the next generation of scholars and citizens on their next chapter on their learning adventure and propriety of knowledge.
